After replacing the battery, I got a LIN bus error on the ambient lighting on the rear right door. Everything else works fine, the error is permanent and cannot be deleted.
Does anyone have any ideas where to start looking?

Try to write a new address in the ambient lighting LIN. Depending on the car, this may be MBUX or a separate control unit for ambient lighting.

First try using Xentry to determine what the problem is, then use DTS Monaco to check if the module is faulty. In this case, you will probably need a new module.

First of all, thanks for the solutions. This is the error code U109388. Are the control units installed separately in the door?

What car? Where is the fault code stored? Enter VIN here for better help.

What vehicle are we talking about? Is LIN addressing restored? Each door is equipped with a door control unit, to which the ambient lighting is connected. Maybe this will help.

VIN number is WDD2132041A529957, fault code is stored in N162 (AML).

Have you read this fault code using Xentry? If yes, there is a option to restore the LIN address. Try this first. If it's not there, it'll be in HU.

Try the learning process in the Xentry adaptation tab. The LED may burn out if you see fewer users than the default.
