Unfortunately coding is not enough, it changes back to original after reset. AFAIK it needs update/downgrade when this happens, I am not really experienced with CarPlay, but its a close friend and I am trying to help him.

You can not active CarPlay with this SW. Downgrade SW and activate CarPlay.

It can be activated on all sw having sa154, if you have 18.31 it is also possible to activate it without having to downgrade the software.
