Does someone know if new models Mercedes CLA facelift 2024 need zenzefi certificates to do coding?

Yes, the new 2024 Mercedes CLA facelift models require ZenZefi certificates for coding. This is the ZenZefi After-Sales STANDARD until June 2024. It is also mentioned that for newer vehicles, without ZenZefi, it wouldn't be possible to use DTS or other services. There are specific ECU coding certificates that can be used with DTS Monaco for latest DOIP vehicles. I don't think this will be published freely.

I can understand that it won't be released for free, but I want to know what else DTS can do on the new car like w206 without a certificate. Can we check some code or can we say that the car cannot communicate with DTS. Thank You! I really want coding my little C-class.

In facelift CLA there is just some of modules that need certs (IC177M, HU7, MRR223 etc.) most of them are still old one.

Doesn't work without a certificate.
I checked it.
It seems that the certificate is necessary to unlock the EZS as a gateway in the car.
So, I tried to connect like Renault for EZS, but there is connection only with some modules (not with all).
I was also unable to connect directly to the ECU (in my case MRD2). The CANBUS MRD2 seems to run at 2MB/s (measured with an oscilloscope), so my Openport interface is not working.

I don't think you need a certificate to unlock the EZS on facelift models, I own a 2024 GLE and I could enter permission 3B on EZS167 and do variant coding to some of the "old" ECUs (eg. ALC213, was adding some deleted ambient lights to the seat panel and rear door pockets) with DTS Monaco with no issue.

No luck on the new ECUs like IC177M and HU7, I only got Openport 2.0 which lacks the DOIP capability anyway, I'm happy with what I have now
