Component protection

Hello.
Plz usually when change instrument for GOLF 6 or caddy equiped with instrument nec 32 or 64 we get issue with radio component protection (cp).
Read data from old with any tool avdi or vvdi write data to new one car start but radio not work.
For radio which work with pin no problem but the radio in cp is problem.
I heard that data in dash (cp radio need to transfer to new one).
Any tool able to transfer this data?

You do not need to transfer the data just yet there are other options available.

1. Enter vehicle details in ODIS


2. Run full diagnostics


3. You should see the a few Test plans generated. Switch back to the 'Control modules' tab


4. You should see the 'Information Electronics' (005F) right click it


5. Right click and select Guided Functions



6. Click Run and let the tool complete its programming. The CP should be resolved after the run is complete.

It should not require online access. It would be better to turn off the internet while doing offline programming such as this. The only thing you will need is the laptop, ODIS tool, and the connector make sure your laptop does not turn off during any programming to avoid issues in the process.

You cannot remove CP with ODIS offline, only with GeKo account online.

Even online failed to solve the problem.

What is the fault you are seeing when you try to remove CP with ODIS online, can you post a picture?

Normaly the gateway gets wet and you have such problems.
