I have a car in which the trunk control unit does not work, after normalization everything else does not work at all.
The module that is currently installed is throwing a fault code of A24E60. I suspect this is because the owner simply replaced the part (the hardware is correct, but the software is incorrect).
Original part with possibly damaged EEPROM/SW (original VIN has fake characters).
HW A204 870 65 26 (08/43).
SW A212 902 11 02 (09/06-00).

The installed module has SW A212 902 55 06.
Any tips on how to fix this nonsense?
Reflashing the built-in/original part via Vediamo 4 via Scanmatik with CBF from Xentry (21.6.3) and CFF from "CFF file" simply results in Vediamo reporting "wrong opcode" or simply crashing.
I suspect I'll have to use Vediamo 5 with this CFF, or?
Does anyone have the necessary files to do this via J2536?

Ok, managed to fix that issue myself in no time.
Use old PTCM.CBF from DAS since the new one from Xentry does not work with Vediamo 4, ignore the warning that it has no variant (in my case 0006).
Flash CFF 2129021102 (from "CFF file site") onto the module (module has to be in the car, bench flash did not work for me) - this should just work.
Do DL_Entnormieren and DL_Löschen_erkannte_Variante, then configure DL_Variante and DL_Variantenstatus (gültig) (since the auto detect always used the wrong type in my case).
Do Function HardReset.
After that delete all DTC, there should be none now.
Open trunk, then execute Routine "Automatische Normierung Start" and it should do its thing.
After that, use "Automatische Normierung Stop", change Coding to your liking (in my case it was too fast) and you are done.
