Hi guys, I am new to this forum and recently bought a CLA C118 as my first Mercedes.
I am an ordinary guy, without a workshop or anything like that. I recently found out about the possibility of coding this car and then spent 5 days on full research and achieved it (I installed Xentry 09.23, Vediamo 4 and 5, DTS 8 and 9). I wanted to do this from scratch and with very limited resources on the Internet.
I wanted to share this guide on how to save coding to HU6 since it took me 4 days to complete the process.
All you need for this is DTS Monaco 9.02 and a database. You can get it here on this site or you can get the database from the Xentry folder.
I did all this with a Chinese clone of Openport 2.0 for 15 euros.
I also tried to write the AMG and it worked but I didn't know what else to code and I didn't like the way it looked.
Anyway, I hope this will help at least someone, because it was a pain to figure out how to save the coding in that ECU without paying someone money to show it to you.
I want to contribute to this community, so I hope this information is useful I'll publish more.
