How to change region in HU55 using DTS Monaco, can anyone help? Thanks.

If you want to change the language to another region, go to the "Main Coding Write" and change the language line.

I have the same question. I recently bought a Japanese NTG55, but my country is Thailand.
Navigation does not work because the map does not match the hardware.
Is it possible to flash new firmware for China with support for the Thailand map?

You won't change the serial number by coding. The region is indicated in the serial number. There are two ways to change the serial number, but it is an expensive job. Find someone to do it for you by mail order.
