Issue with W212

Hello everyone, basicly got this situation. Got a W212 2009 2.1CDI. I'm the 10th owner, i know... Was my bad. Loads of sh* done to the car. Like the check engine light is not there, disabled or bulb taken out. Tried autel and xentry can't connect to ECU. When you run full scan it's okay it connects but not directly to the ECU. Is it possible that the ECU was changed and not properly coded in. Got an alarm fault code U110d00, the tow hook and interior protection buttons not working and not functioning. Probably the EML light was always on that's why they done something with it. Any opinions are welcome.

Check first all fuses and obd port pins.
Is the tow hook original? If not, check its wiring connection and especially the trailer plug.
 
Checked the fuse it was fine. But put in new one. When i went to the function testing in xentry. When i was presing those buttons it didn't see that.
 
Dirt/water inside cars trailer plug is very common reason to problems.
 
The trailer plug, i don't know even if i have that.

Oh alright. I need to have a look. But what the interior protection. Why it's not working?

Please Chek that al the ECU,s have the same VIN programmed,
 
Do a quick test whit Xentry.
Then click every module/ecu and check in live date the stored vin in the module.
The all most be the same

You can post a print screen for us of all you fault code,s after a quick test?
