K+D CAN Cables for Mercedes Software

Can these cables be used or modified for use with Mercedes?

I don't want to say "NO", but it may require some effort to modify the drivers and/or the cable itself, since cars (BMW/Mercedes) of the same era use different CAN bus speeds (100 kbps BMW/83.3 kbps MB). It will probably be easier to implement a pass-through J2534 interface using an Arduino.

I tried it, but it didn't work. I ended up ordering a Tactrix Openport 2.0 from AliExpress. It was as cheap as the K+D CAN cable. Hope this helps!

Sure, I did that. Can you show me where you downloaded XENTRY PassThru (XPT) and how you set it up? I've tried and tried. I think I need to wipe the laptop and start over with a clean OS.
