I am trying to update my navigation database from the US version to the European version. At the moment I have found and downloaded the latest version of EU, but I can't find my current map pack. Can someone give me a link, I have the North American version v11. Car W204 2014.

I suggest you go one step further and get a CarPlay module. It works absolutely amazing and looks very natural. I have been using it on my W204 for 5-6 months now and it is very convenient. Always the latest maps online, everything works great. The problem is that if you update the maps now, I'm not sure if the latest update is up to date, some places might be missing. Even if this happens in 1-2 years, everything will no longer be the same. Roads change, some are closed, others change direction, etc. Online maps are the best solution. Plus, you get extra CarPlay features, apps, notifications, and more.

What a great suggestion to use smartphone based navigation, it is always more up to date... and all the real time traffic information works and works much better...
And these maps (product name with its version numbers) are always called or seem to be new, but in their details they are mostly very far behind and not that new... The best example is the Mercedes-Benz Becker Map Pilot used as a navigation module/slot solution: Map package 2023 V23, but Navigation MAP DATA from (Q2/2022)... maybe next V24 release will be Q4/2022? How do we know if it will ever come out, or if it will come out at all?

I like the smartphone navigation, but sometimes it works slower than navigation in a car.

You can download the map according to your head unit model.

I guess it depends on the phone. I use iPhone 13 - no problems. Lightning fast and smooth.

I just want the native maps to work. I'm not a big fan of Android units. My previous car had one.

I actually downloaded the latest maps just to avoid spending 100 euros on a PIN that can be used on an older version of the map, so I'm looking for the V11 map update files for North America. Apparently if you install the same version or an earlier version with the current maps installed, you will be able to swap the disks and install the latest version without a PIN.

My friend, there is nothing in common between CarPlay module and Android devices. Stop spending so much time on updates. Try the module and we'll talk again! Watch some videos to see how this module works on iPhone and Android devices. It has nothing to do with Chinese Android tablets for cars.
