MB Star Diag C6 DOIP Pairing Problem

I had a problem connecting my C6 DOIP VCI to Xentry. First I tried to use VX Manager to update the firmware.
Unfortunately, the VCI firmware always failed in the same place.

I tried it on different systems, different USB, connected to the car's OBD to save voltage. I also tried to restore the version that was shipped with Xentry 03.2022, but it still does not work.

I noticed that after flashing via Mercedes (when I selected 03.2022), the icon became normal for a moment, then after a few seconds a message appeared about a problem with the WiFi adapter, and then still could not connect via VCI Manager, etc.

After hours of trying, my client finally contacted the vendor and they provided a patched VCI Manager (NOT VX) and that was the key to success.
After that everything worked. Thanks to luki03 for his offer of support.
I leave my answer for those who will have similar problems in the future.

I had the same problem and tried to install an older version of VX Manager with an older version of the software and it worked again. You can download VX Manager from the Internet.

At the same time, there are different types of VCI C6 in the market. The famous VXDIAG C6 for MB in gray case (which looks like other VCI for other brands) and clones of VCI C6 that look like original/genuine. This requires a different software than VXDIAG, the current version should be 1.0.0.5 and should be directly from the seller. Without this, you will not be able to use the C6 clone with any software.

Of course, the real C6 does not need a driver, it is controlled in the VCI Manager directly in Xentry.

I have VXDIAG C6 with extended case and it works with VCI Manager v1.8.6 with Xentry 12/2023.

C6 is a software Openport 2.0 emulator similar to Passthru. If you like coding, forget about Passthru!
The C6 you have is a "simple" VX electronics in a C6 case, it is a fake, same as VAS6150, same as Porsche PIWIS and others. NOT REAL!
For real coding and programming you need real hardware with real original driver like C4.
