MB Star Diag C6 DOIP -> pairing problem

Dear All.
I'm facing with problem connecting my C6 DOIP VCI with connecting with Xentry. First of All, i tried to use VX Manager to update my firmware.
Unfortunately the VCI firmware part always failed in same position.

I tried to do this, at different systems, different USB, i have connected to CAR OBD to keep the voltage. I was also try to restore version that was delivered with (Xentry 03/22) but it still not working.

What i observed is that after flashing by Mercedes (when i choose 2203), then after flashing for a moment icon became OK, and then after few seconds I got communicate about WiFi Adapter problem and then still cannot connect via VCI Manager etc.

After few hours of tried, my customer finally contacted seller and he provided corrected VCI Manager (NOT VX one) and it was key of sucess.

After that evertything started working. Thanks to luki03 for his offer of support

I was sure from the beginning. OEMs do not use such unofficial "managers".

Hello, I had the same problem and then tried to install an older version of the VX Manager with an older software version and it worked again. You can download the VX Manager from the Internet.

In the mean time there are different kinds of VCI C6 on the market, the well known VXDIAG C6 for MB with the grey cases (that look like other VCI for other brands) and the clone VCIs C6 that look like the original/genuine. Those need different software than the VXDIAG, present version should be 1.0.0.5 and comes direct from the seller. Without that you will not be able to use the clone C6 with any software.

Of course the genuine C6 does not need any driver, it is managed in VCI manager straight in Xentry.

I have the VXDIAG C6 with the grew case and it works with VCI Manager V1.8.6 with Xentry 12/2023.

C6 is a software Openport 2.0 emulator similar to Passthru. If you like coding, forget about Passthru!
The C6 you have is a "simple" VX electronics in a C6 case, it is a fake, same as VAS 6150, same as Porsche PIWIS and others. NOT REAL!
For real coding and programming you need real hardware using real original driver like C4.
