Mercedes-Benz SDmedia v01.2014

SDmedia 2014 is a multimedia library for old STAR DIAGNOSIS systems that was designed as a useful complement for Mercedes-Benz WIS and TIPS media library. The library illustrates complex technical repair procedures or those procedures that can not be demonstrated in a usual way for passenger cars, vans, trucks, Unimogs and buses.
The program contains video, animation and audio files to help you with troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of all Mercedes-Benz vehicles. SDmedia is a knowledge base and a valuable way to gain new knowledge and skills for specialists in various areas and Star Diagnosis systems.

The program was specially rebuilt for MS Windows 10 and 11.

Link updated to new version dated 20.10.2023

OS: MS Windows 7 and above
Installed size: 7.6 GB

After the October updates, Windows Internet Explorer 11 is no longer supported and is being redirected to Microsoft Edge.
The distribution has been updated to avoid this problem on all systems, regardless of update.

If your SDmedia does not display videos (for example, Windows 10 Enterprise versions).

Open "Control Panel".
Click on "Uninstall a program".
Click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
Click on the plus to the left of "Media features".
Check the box to the left of "Windows Media Player".
Check if the videos are working in SDmedia.

The SDmedia videos are WMV format (Windows Media Video) as can be seen in the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\MedBIB\mediadb\mb_Filme".

If you do not use "Windows Media Player", you can turn it off under "Media Features", but leave "Media Features" enabled so you can watch videos in the browser.
