Mercedes w212 nice to know hold function

I start a new thread to enlighten about a couple of functions I just think Mercedes does better then other cars I have tried.

Hold function - when breaking to a stop (for example in a roundabout or a crossroad) you could just press the brake a bit more down (when standing still) and HOLD comes up dash and you can lift foot of the break and car is holding. And when you gonna start its just start as normal

Air Circulation when going in a tunnel and your windows and roof are open, you could just press and hold Air Recirculation button and all windows/roof closes.
When you are out you press and hold again and it opens to previous position

Do you know other things Mercedes just does better?

I wish I had that HOLD function in my pre-facelift W204. Tried to enable it through coding since I've heard that facelifted W204 has that function, but unsuccessful but the air circulation thingy... I use that all the time since I've noticed this function by accident. Pretty neat feature.

Another neat thing I think that Mercedes has into their cars is 90 degree opening angle of the hood. It just makes the diagnosis/repair of the engine bay SO MUCH easier

I have an 2015 S212 and there is the circulation trick working,
I found out that some functions not work if the backup battery is wrong or down.

In w212 the HOLD function does not work also if the main battery is weak or almost worn out, after replacing the battery with a new one the HOLD function returns. Checked.

Tried the air circulation trick but it didn't work on my C207. Does anyone know if it can be enabled?

How did you try it?

Engine is Running.
Windows are Open.
A/C is Running.
Press the circulation Button and hold it a few seconds.

On the C207/C238/E212 everything worked without enabling, since we had the Cars!

Yesterday I tested the circulation trick on my 2013 S212 and it worked!

Does anyone know if when I press the headlight switch on the W212 it should do something?
I can't figure it out. All functions seem to work.
