Need Help with ECU Coding on W177

I'm new to ECU coding and looking for a guide on how to safely modify my 2018 A-Class W177 (VIN: WDD1770032J021614). I want to enable the AMG menu and maybe tweak some other settings, but I don't want to risk messing anything up.

I already have:

• Vediamo installed
• Xentry installed
• Openport 2.0 as my Passthru device
• Windows laptop ready to use

I read that DTS Monaco may be easier for beginners. Should I switch to it instead? Also, what is the best way to backup my ECU data before making any changes?
I have extracted IC213.CBF from Xentry but I am not sure if this file is correct for my cluster or if there is something else I need to do before applying the changes. Can someone with experience help me walk me through the safest way to proceed?

Sorry buddy, but you have a Renault engine, the AMG menu is not available for you. By the way, for coding W177 you only need DTS Monaco.

You need IC177. Only SMR-D and DTS Monaco. For example.

There are CBF and SMR-D files that allow connection to the ECU via DTS Monaco and Vediamo.
To flash the ECU, CFF and SMR-F files are used respectively (it is not recommended to flash the ECU using Openport 2).
Vediamo is very useful for older models (up to MY2016, approximately). While DTS Monaco is suitable for both new and old. For DTS Monaco, you can choose CBF or SMR-D, which is more common for new cars.
If you have an Openport 2 interface and are using DTS Monaco, please note that you can only connect to the ECU via SMR-D.
It is best to save a quick Xentry test PDF containing all ECU hardware and software components, and also backup all ECUs via DTS Monaco before you start working on the codings.
