Looking for assistance with this. Also, seeking the most recent software.
I replaced the PCV valve. Any thoughts on why this is occurring?

Their is "wrong air" in the intake, something is leaking. If you worked on the PCV and its hoses, make sure everything is really tight. If you have lighter _gas_ refill, you can check at with place it makes an effect on the running engine - there is the leakage.

Legend is much appreciated... did a quick how to on Google "Carburetor Cleaner Test: With the engine running, spray small amounts of carburetor cleaner or a similar flammable aerosol around suspected areas of a vacuum leak. If the engine RPM fluctuates or changes, it indicates that the cleaner is being drawn in through a vacuum leak, confirming its presence."

I prefer lighter gas to carburetor cleaner because lighter gas is purely gaseous and carburetor cleaner contains an aerosol. The engine's reaction is more immediate with lighter gas, whereas with aerosols you sometimes have a delayed response and can then be misled. In addition, carburetor cleaners often form films that evaporate slowly and are very harmful to health due to the aromatic hydrocarbons they contain.

Is your throttle body plugged in? Dirty? Wiring to it in good shape?
