Step-by-Step Procedure:
1. Connect ODIS to the vehicle using the VAS diagnostic interface.
2. Open ODIS and start a session for the Audi Q5.
3. Select "Transmission" from the control modules list (usually 02 - Transmission Control Module).
4. Navigate to the "Guided Functions" or "Special Functions" section.
5. Select "Check ATF Level" or a similar function (wording may vary based on ODIS version).
6. Follow the on-screen instructions, which typically include:
• Ensuring the gearbox oil temperature is within the specified range (35-45°C).
• Keeping the engine running.
• Shifting through all gears (P, R, N, D) and then leaving it in P or N.
7. Loosen the oil level check plug (on the gearbox oil pan).
• If oil flows out in a steady stream, the level is correct.
• If no oil comes out, you need to add oil through the fill port.
• If too much oil comes out, wait until it reduces to a slight drip and then close the plug.
8. Tighten the oil level check plug to the specified torque.
9. Confirm in ODIS that the procedure is complete and clear any faults if necessary.
