I have SDconnect, I have used it with two different laptops, each with a different version of Xentry. Today I was testing a Mercedes. I was told to apply the brakes. When I did, I accidentally pulled the OBD connector. The PC showed a message saying that SDconnect had lost connection to the car. When I rebooted the computer, plugged it in again, there was no connection to the PC. When connected, the network icons in the taskbar are usually blue, but the situation did not change. I tried a different LAN cable, and also a different PC with a newer version of Xentry, all the same. Maybe my SDconnect is broken? Is there anything I can check?

The LAN connector is damaged or loose. Disassemble it and check. If not, the firmware is damaged or the LAN PIC is damaged.

I also recently had a problem with connection, according to XDOS, no interfaces were found. It was in SDconnect Toolkit but didn't want to update firmware, DCDI error 661. I fixed the error and updated the firmware, only after that I was able to connect to the car again.

Try resetting SDconnect to factory settings and then reconfiguring it using SDconnect Toolkit.

Did a factory reset help solve the problem?

This happens from time to time when someone suddenly stops diagnosing or the laptop suddenly turns off.
In your case, you will have to reinstall the firmware (in the multiplexer). With two different laptops and different versions, you will have to make sure that the laptops do not allow automatic firmware updates. Rename the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mercedes-Benz\SDconnect Toolkit\update_automatic" to "update_automatic_dx" to prevent automatic firmware update.

To update the multiplexer, you need to check the CSD version and the Bootloader version, both of them are visible in the Administration when connecting the LAN cable, then insert the batteries and transfer the firmware (from the old laptop), then remove the batteries again. Now you can run diagnostics on both laptops again.
