SLK R170 SRS Airbags activate

Hello everyone, I need help activating the airbags in my SLK R170 from 1999

Hi, So the airbag off light is on? Is the RED Airbag fault light on in the instrument cluster? If so then can you read out the fault codes in the SRS module?

Is this a new car for you? Maybe this might not be a problem at all.

If there is no RED light in the instrument cluster then this may actually be normal operation. Have an adult person sit in the passenger seat and see if the light goes out. Let us know what you find.
