Problem with speed limit in Mercedes Sprinter, in CRD3NFZ I corrected coding from 90 km/h to 140, but the car still does not accelerate more than 90 km/h. I did not find any restrictions in other ECUs.

I have changed this parameter.

CRD3 Sprinter 906, today when I was working on it I noticed that I can't change the limiter by coding it to a value greater than 89 km/h. I can do 79, but not more than 89.

Today I tested changing the speed limit on a W906 2017 CRD3P.B0 using Xentry coding. The speed limit is set to 120 km/h and can be changed to a maximum of 161 km/h.

I never had problems with this, W906, W907, W910 were always limited, and in this ECU you can actually install only 2 options, these are 79 and 89 km/h.

The parameter you need to adjust is in your engine control unit - correct. Have you unlocked your ECU correctly? This can be done in Vediamo Engine ECU -> Diagjob -> "DJ_Entriegelung_BC", check the answer after unlocking the ECU. After that you will be able to adjust the VMAX parameter.

Thanks for the answers, I had no problems with Vediamo and I changed VMAX. The problem turned out to be in the settings, the maximum speed was 89 km/h, after changing this parameter I was able to accelerate the car to 180.

I have a similar problem.
After coding VMAX in the W907 van in CPC_NG and CRD 3.2 up to 120 km/h the van now runs at only 81 km/h.
I also changed the changes back to 161 km/h. As it was before.
But the van is still only running at 81 km/h.
Any ideas?

Hello everyone, as Christi325 already said, you need to press "Dj_entriegelung" or if you have the best Vediamo, you have 2 options to unlock the ECU, you press it and you have about 5 minutes, no more, to code the VMAX, after that in these 5 minutes perform an important function called "HARDWARE RESET", only after that the new VMAX coding will be ready to work, I hope this will help you.

Connect Xentry, find the driver settings point and check the speed at that point.
