When using Xentry (online) you can perform a teach-in procedure for the replaced units in case you still have any error codes even after they have been completely erased. And they will be stored until you have done proper Xentry teach-in (online)/SCN coding for them.
You should also always check and do a hard reset after all coding, and always save all coding before and after changes.
Also always check Xentry before doing anything with existing codes (errors), erasing and checking after all procedures are performed, all stored error code events should be permanently erased and will not return after the vehicle is used again. Then everything is good and fine. If not, then there are still some coding issues or other problems that need to be focused on to fix them.
Additionally, when updating some devices, such as installing a new firmware, coding may be required if there are any changes associated with the new firmware. And here, or in Xentry (online) SCN coding can be very useful to remove all error codes. How I do proper coding for you. Or you will have to know and do the coding manually offline using DTS Monaco if you know the correct coding parameters.
