I'm new to all this but trying to learn as much as I can.
My W177 had its front radar sensor stolen, part number A0009052616. I just bought a new one (maybe used, but I'm not sure). It will arrive tomorrow.
I have Xentry and DTS Monaco with Openport 2.0 Passthru.
From what I understand I need to code this replacement with DTS Monaco to make it work with the car (offline SCN) and then with Xentry I can do a calibration drive.
Is this correct? How do I do this?
My VIN number is WDD1770872J120521.

Reset the trained values in Xentry and that's it. If the radar is new or from the same car. Usually nothing more is required, it carries out further training independently.

I connected the sensor and nothing, no connection at all. Now I think I need to check the connector with a multimeter and the fuses.
In the meantime, I'll try to code the active emergency braking system so that the warning on the dashboard doesn't appear!

I had to do the same, my sensor was missing but they replaced it with a new one which ended up having to be SCN coded, SCN cost about £80, DTS was not used. I had to reset the calibration with Xentry several times because I had alignment issues due to the grille change.

Is this the A90 Collision Prevention System or the A108 Active Brake Assist?
If it is an A90 then no alignment is required, it will automatically align after about 100 km, but SCN coding will be required, which also adapts the VIN to EZS.
If it is A108, then alignment and SCN coding is also required.

Note that A108 shows an incorrect fault code for the VIN, A90 not always. One way to check if coding is required in XENTRY is to go to the Actual Values tab and check the installation position. If you see a yellow box with a communication error message, coding is required.

In any case the new device will need SCN coding, although it doesn't have to be XENTRY online, it can be done with other online tools (I used TOPDON for A90).
