W211 Front SAM Circuit 87 Relay Switches Off Too Soon

I have a problem with my W211 E220 car, the check engine light is on. My scanner shows these trouble codes and from what I understand the red code is the reason for the check engine light. 1610-002.
I found the front SAM fuse and relay diagram on the Internet. I replaced the relay marked "I" but the problem persists.
Can anyone share any tips on diagnosing other possible problems with the front SAM and its relay? I have a multimeter and have used it before, but I'm not sure what exactly to check in this case.

Replace relay "R", if the problem is not solved, the problem is in the wiring harness or fan. Also troubleshoot other faults.

Deal with error 2537-002. Error 1610-002 may be a consequence. When shorted to ground, the control unit usually turns off the "output".
