W222 SCCM222 Replace

I changed the steering column module on the W222 and now the car won't start. I put the original one back and the car started. Do I need to program/code anything?

Your new SCCM is probably not from a W222, as the SCCM on the W222, like most others, is designed for the Flex-Ray, and if you put a CAN module in there instead, you will break the Flex and the car will not start, check that.

SCCM does not have variant coding. You must provide the correct part number for your VIN. If you do not know the part number, send me the VIN and I will give you the correct part number. SCCM can be used.
