Hello, im in search for a Software that May Help fixing the 7g tronic shifting issues. (Sometimes refs Up to 3,5k before shifting into 3rd /4th Gear, Sometimes stuttering in Low rpm range whilst rolling in slow Traffic ~10km/h @1200rpm)
As far as im concerned, the Software hast never been updated, only adaptions reset/ relearned.
I already flushed the gearbox which did not Change a Thing.

Much bliged for any usefull information

Hey, could you provide us with the VIN as well as your current 'Control Unit Version'? Lets see if you have the latest coding/ flash installed.

Hey karone,
the vin is WDD2189231A089292. It's the gearbox with friction reduction (7)
i cannot tell you current control unit version because i dont have my hardware yet.
i already tried the soft reset (ignition step 2, fully depressed gaspedal for 30s, then ignition step 1 / off and waiting 2 minutes, then gentle driving) which did no change the behavior. This happens when in Eco Mode and Sport mode aswell. i believe actually it might have something to do with the clutch packages.

Try to reset gearbox with Xentry. About new software (patching) be very careful, check that better with some professionals or you know what are you doing. That issue you described is new, I mean for some times it was everything OK, then you noticed that?
Best regards

correct, reset shifting up & down data and relearn shifting in stay or in drive with Xentry.
Xentry / adaption... software will lead you what to do. you need atleast 5 good correct shifting and then save it for every shifting gear

I will try to take a look at the shifting adaption. I've contacted a specialist and learned where values (mbar and t) indicate some pressure loss inside the mechanical part. My problem will most likely be a worn out gearbox.
The deleting shifting adaption is not recommended for a worn out gearbox, since it puts more stress on (grinding) on the clutch packs.

So if not too much expensive you need to repair gearbox. On my previous W203 I also repaired gearbox 722.5, repaired torque converter (we called it wandler) and also mechanic took apart whole gearbox and change some parts. Your gearbox is 7DCT (I have it also in my W246), don't know about experience that anyone repaired it, but probably it can be repaired. How much did you car have km passed?

The car has 204000km on it.
It can be fixed, probably some issues with actuators. Currently im Just waiting for the C4 multiplexer to arrive. Still stuck at the Airport.

Wondering for diagnose and fix, let us know

From my practice, I don't think you will solve this problem in this way in your case.

If you have already performed a reset several times and the same problem keeps occurring, I regret to inform you that you should remove the Conductor Platte / Conductor Board (inside in your 7G see WIS) and replace the valves (but not change the Conductor board Complete or you get with IMMO a problem), and only then reset and Adaptation again.

If this error persists, you should have the gearbox overhauled, there is no other solution!

Flushing the transmission is ok, I know Tim Eckard quite well. Here an attempt is made to switch the gears/valves individually and thus flush them through in the hope of eliminating the problems, but the method only delays the actual symptoms. The actual cause is the wear and tear of the parts, i.e. the valves in the conductor plate first.

Anything else is just a waste of time!
