Xentry requirements for offline diagnostics for new DOIP only cars

Hello,

These are my first questions after my introduction post.

My future car will be a V-Class W447 Mopf2-2024. As far as I know, a DOIP only vehicle, right?

After much reading and research, I think, I need the following:

  • Xentry Open Shell 3.2024 or 6.2024 for Mopf2 2024 vehicles
  • Xentry Fix for offline use
  • Current ZenZefi certificate
  • VxDiag VCX SE for Benz

Is that correct? Does that fit?

I have read, that new vehicles, e.g. also the Vito from 2021/2022, are difficult or unpossible to read out. Could it be that it no longer works offline, and an online connection is mandatory?

Can I still read out my new vehicle on my own with the products mentioned above?

I primarily just want to be able to read out and delete errors. If necessary, adjust configurations via Xentry, if possible.

As the car has almost everything, I can only think myself of two things to code:

  • Start/stop last mode (or can this be done via Xentry?)
  • Unlocking the augmented reality camera as a dashcam (currently only available to order in Switzerland)

Do I need Monaco or Vediamo for this?

Hi, it is true that ZenZefi works little bit troubleshooting, but also depends which one you have... Validation until June 2024? Second you can also use C6 multiplexer Original or Clone, both are relatively good, Third... Not All V class can off Start Stop (last mode) you need Monaco DTS and Seed key calculator to unlock cars ECU... Hope I little bit helped... Good luck mate...

  • C6 Original (very expensive)
  • VxDiag C6
  • VxDiag SCE

Are the ZenZefi certificates already necessary for reading and deleting the errors or only for coding?

Hi Felix.

You have also C6(Clone) it Is good and not so expensive like Original (600eur photo sent).
From other side if you consider cheaper option you have VCX for Benz (300eur) photo below.
ZenZefi you need to reading new cars (w206 w223).

Hi Felix, may I ask, what is the specific function you are looking for with the Zenzefi certificates?

As I have learned, newer vehicle series and Mopf require valid ZenZefi certificates to communicate with the control units. Without certificates, it is no longer even possible to read out and delete fault codes. Therefore I need valid aftersales standard certificates.
