XENTRY Requirements for Offline Diagnostics of New DOIP Cars

These are my first questions after the introductory post.
My future car will be a V-Class W447 MOPF2 2024. As far as I know, it will be a DOIP only car, right?

After much reading and research I came to the conclusion that I need the following:

  • Xentry OpenShell 3.2024 or 6.2024 for MOPF2 2024 vehicles
  • Xentry Fix for offline use
  • ZenZefi valid certificate
  • VXDIAG VCX SE for Mercedes-Benz

Is this correct? Does this fit?
I read that on new cars, for example on the 2021/2022 Vito, reading the data is difficult or even impossible. Could it be that it no longer works offline and requires an online connection? Can I read my new car myself using the above products? First of all, I just want to be able to read and delete errors and adjust configurations if necessary through Xentry if possible.

Since the car has almost everything, I can only think of two things that could be coded:

  • Start/Stop Last Mode (or can this be done through Xentry?)
  • Unlocking an Augmented Reality Camera as a dashcam (currently only available for order in Switzerland)

Do I need DTS Monaco or Vediamo for this?

Hi, it is true that ZenZefi helps a little in troubleshooting, but it also depends on which version you have. Validation by June 2024? Secondly, you can also use C6 Original or Clone multiplexer, both are relatively good. Thirdly, not all V-class cars can disable the Start/Stop function Last Mode, to unlock the car's ECU you will need DTS Monaco and Seed Key calculator. I hope I helped at least a little.

What would you recommend:

  • C6 Original (very expensive)
  • VXDIAG C6
  • VCX SE

Do you need ZenZefi certificates for reading and deleting errors or just for coding?
 
You also have C6 (clone), it is good and not as expensive as the original (600 euro), photo below.
On the other hand, if you are looking for a cheaper option, you have the VCX for Mercedes-Benz (300 euros), photo below.
To read newer cars (W206, W223, etc.) you will need ZenZefi.

May I ask what specific function are you looking for in ZenZefi certificates?

As far as I know, newer vehicle series and MOPF require valid ZenZefi certificates to communicate with ECUs. Without certificates it is now impossible to even read and delete fault codes. Therefore, I need valid After-Sales STANDARD certificates.
