I have a 2001 Audi TT MK1 that the cluster failed on. I purchased a used replacement thinking it would come with the pin code but it didn't. If anyone can help so I can program it to the car I would be grateful, Attached is a image of the back of the cluster

cluster

Pin only read hc12.

I'm new here so I don't know what hc12 is.

This is the IC in the cluster you need to read data from. It's probably a good idea to have someone near the right KIT do this for you. Save yourself a lot of headaches.

You have three options.
First, if the panel is the same as before, re-solder the EEPROM chip from the old one to the new one.
Second. Disable the immobilizer in the ECU.
Third. Find and download the free EEPROM Programmer program, buy a VAG KKL cable, read the PIN code, program the keys.

You can buy VAG Tacho and read the PIN code. Then you use VCDS and program it to the keys. You can buy it cheap on AliExpress or eBay. When using VAG Tacho you can change the mileage to the same as the old one.

Ask around if anyone has UPA USB 1.3 Programmer - Black version, it can read and write data from EEPROM without soldering or anything. The process takes 5 minutes. And you can also set your own mileage with this tool as an added bonus.
