I have a E250 CDI Cabriolet 2012 and would like to know/learn more about checking and updating the head unit and car modules software to the latest version available if possible.
I'm new to this but I'm learning fast.

You need the "akktab.csv" file from Xentry version before 12.2014, located in the "SDFlash" folder.
Based on the HW hardware number, software is selected for the body type.
"akktab.csv" file contains a description of the correspondence of software versions to blocks, were for offline selection of software in systems where this is provided.

Can anyone do this remotely if I buy a clone of the Openport adapter?
