I have a Ford Transit (Rollerteam 696) Motorhome. It’s a 2016 but the mileage is very low at 12200. Whilst I was driving in the rain with wipers on intermittent setting I decided to adjust the intermittent speed. Within a few seconds the whole dash dis play started to flicker on and off as if it were losing total power. No lights, rev counter or speedometer. The engine was still running though and the indicators would work with no dash display. I pulled over and turned it off only for a few seconds, but this didn’t resolve anything. So I decided to switch it off and left it for 30 minutes. After that everything was back to normal. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like a software glitch within one of the modules. Using fjds or fdrs, you can check for software updates which may resolve the issue.

I would check if the housing module on the top plugs is wet, they often leak water. This can affect the operation of your instrument cluster.

First it doesn't work, then everything is fine. Software can't do this, 100% no!
Key words are rain and water. It is necessary to look for moisture in the blocks or dampness of the contacts.
