Is it possible to map the EV engine for more power?
BRABUS makes a "tuning box".

I assume that in order to increase the power of the EV system there is an ECU that controls this?

Of course, there is an electronic engine control unit. It acts as a DC/DC converter, generating three-phase DC+ and DC- voltages. Torque corresponds to current, speed limit corresponds to voltage. The torque is controlled/limited by the IGBT driver control pulse width ratio. There must be a map of these restrictions. A one-dimensional measurement of I_max or t_on_max depending on the rotation speed should be sufficient.

No.

As far as I know, there is no solution for programming the e-machine control. These are Continental Electricals, they use e-machine controls. The Otto engine's power can be increased slightly, but in most cases the transmission control will also be limited. If BRABUS manipulates the common rail pressure box, the boost will be poor. This method worked 20 years ago, but not now.
