The car has approximately 180,000 miles. Before replacing the tensioner, there was a constant knocking noise, but after that, the car ran fine.
The problem began with the car not starting immediately after turning it off. After 20-30 minutes of sitting, it would start with difficulty and run more or less normally, continuing until the next time it was turned off. Eventually, it wouldn't start at all.
The coolant and oil levels are normal, and the car has recently been serviced. No error codes were detected.
The car is currently parked 60 miles away, so I can't perform any further testing.
