Replaced the battery with a new one.

It looks like there is no power to the ME unit.

Which diagnostic tool?

As if it didn't read, that's why it gives unknown errors. Maybe recognition is needed, you can try with Xentry.

If I remember correctly the W221 is a MHEV and uses a 48V battery. They lock up if their charge drops too low, and since the 12V battery is charged by a DC-DC converter, the charge drops too. The voltage on the 12V battery should be 13.8V immediately after turning on the ignition. If not, check the 48V battery. If everything is OK, you may have a faulty DC-DC converter (located inside the 48V battery).

Thanks Bro! I checked the DC-DC converter and found that there was water in it. I'm currently ordering a new one to replace and test.
