Does anyone know where to start with the problem that is listed on my scan tool? It looks like there are two fuel pressure regulators, one on the injection pump and one on the distributor.

Continuing with the problem that arose last week. I drove the car for a bit and hooked up a diagnostic tool. As you can see from the photo, except for one pressure spike when braking, the pump seems to be running at around 200 bar. Any other things to check? Any tips?

The most common problems are related to the fuel pump in the tank. Fault codes indicating too low fuel pressure or pump failure can be found in the DAS ME event memory in addition to the fault codes. Also check if the PTCU memory is clear.

I'm not sure if iCarsoft can provide me with DAS ME event memory. On the other hand, after deleting the P0001 error, it did not appear even after a short drive of 10-15 minutes in quiet mode. I only have two pending trouble codes related to two NOx sensors, which I will replace soon.

I don't know if anyone has an opinion, but when I start the car, it starts, but with difficulty.

Most likely, the fuel is draining back through the spark plugs. They need to be checked.

Yes, but it can cause a problem when I start the car? When I start it, it starts, but with difficulties.

After my last posts I did a diagnostic test on the Mercedes and indeed it is the Y94, the control valve. So I guess I'll have to replace the entire pump as Mercedes suggested.
Does anyone know what XENTRY procedure needs to be performed to replace this pump?

The problem has been solved, the problem was in the pump, I changed it and everything is fine!

A month ago I had a similar problem with starting the M272 engine. The engine started with difficulty, but the DAS system did not detect any errors. It turned out that the cause was a cracked rubber fuel hose under the car.
Some time after parking the car, a smell of fuel appeared.

Maybe this will help someone with similar symptoms.

Did you correctly identify the engine model in the thread title? Perhaps it's the M276?
I have never seen an M272 with direct injection (CGI).
