S212 DRLs are Broken

My wife has a 2013 E-Class 200 S212 and I think there is something wrong with the DRL function. The lights at the bottom front only come on when I turn the light switch to position 0. Should they also turn on with the low beam?

DRL is usually in the settings so you can switch between L options, if you want to use DRL with low beam and also to adjust the brightness you will need to code it, watch this video.

I've already watched this video, so there will be coding. But, as he explained, DRLs work during the day until the low beam is turned on, but mine doesn't, DRLs only light up when I open the car. It is very strange that they do not light up when the low beam is turned off in automatic mode.

The E200SE has daytime running lights. They are switched off when the light sensor switches on the parking lights and headlights.

So without coding, I think nothing can be done.
