I’ve run into an electrical issue with the Toyota 2KD-FTV.
There is no 12V voltage at the connector leading to the EDU unit when the ignition is switched to "ON" (but before the engine is started).
In other instances, when the ignition is turned on, the engine warning light starts flashing and clicking sounds come from a relay in the engine bay. The flashing is synchronized with the clicking. In this state, the voltage at the EDU connector is unstable. It fluctuates (reading 6V, then 4V or 9V), dropping to 0V and rising again. Has anyone encountered this before? I would appreciate any information.
By the way, I checked the circuit with a multimeter. 12V is present at the EFI and IGN fuses in both of the states described above.
