W212 Trailer Hitch Fan Coding

Mercedes requires the installation of a more powerful fan (600W) when driving with a trailer hitch. I haven't retrofitted it yet, but I want to do it now. The previous model had louvers for faster engine warm-up, but the new one does not. How do I program this? How can I code this?

You can code the new fan and disable the louvers in XENTRY or Vediamo. In XENTRY, go to ECU, Adaptations, and then Variant Coding. There, change the fan power from 400 to 600W and set the radiator louvers to the "not installed" position.

Yes, and in the upgrade guide, replacing the fan is done by adding a special code to the data card and then a simple SCN.

The restyled versions didn't have these curtains. I haven't seen them in the W212 yet.
