W213 Ambient Lighting

So I know the external ambient on the W213 is done via a LIN bus, but each LED also communicates via a LIN bus or serial protocol with control devices like the Neopixel or "Dotstar".
5V or 12V LEDs?

Yes, each LED module has 4 pins: 12 VBus, GND, LIN bus input and output signal, connected in series.
The W213 uses the ALC213 controller, which supports 8 LIN buses, each supporting 10 LEDs.
