I recently replaced my Airmatic compressor, and now I can hear it bleed air even when I'm driving like a truck. Could the compressor be faulty?

Do you have a XENTRY? If so, you can test out the Airmatic compressor.

Have you checked for air leaks in your XENTRY? Check the compression once.

No, it hasn't worked out yet, but I'll try to do it as soon as possible.

I checked it yesterday and didn't find any leaks. Could it be the compressor since it's third-party?

The Airmatic system has an air filter purge mode. In this mode, air from the system is returned to the air filter. This is normal.

Thanks, I also changed the filter and relay. When I installed the new compressor instead of the original one, I did not notice any air sound.

Try jacking up the car slightly by the front wheels. If there's a leak, you'll be able to hear it. Do this on both sides.

Try checking for leaks by spraying a leak detector spray on the Airmatic compressor. Sometimes the Airmatic compressor housing leaks air.

You can also just spray it with soap and water. It works phenomenally.
