I recently took in a car for diagnostics on behalf of another workshop - a 2017 VW Jetta 1.4T.
Initially, error P0304 was observed, subsequently, the spark plugs and coils were swapped, and the misfire "shifted" along with the plug. The spark plugs were replaced. After that, the vehicle came to me.

After replacing the spark plugs, error codes P0300 (random misfires) and P0301 appeared. I verified the correct installation and secure connection of the ignition coils - everything was in order.
While monitoring the fuel trims, I noticed that the engine was severely starved for air, upon removing the intake manifold, I discovered the following.

Valves! The misfires disappeared 200 miles ago.
The car is back, error codes: P0456, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304.

I now have a completely new ignition system, and fuel pressure is within normal limits in both the low-pressure and high-pressure circuits, furthermore, real-time parameter monitoring via VCDS suggests that misfires are, by all appearances, completely absent. The EVAP visual smoke test was successful, and after passing the tests for small and large leaks, the monitor indicated a normal status, and no error code appeared. I don't have ODIS, but I do have several J2534 devices, and I suspect this is a software issue.

Does anyone have personal experience using this firmware version, which resolves any of these issues?
