C180 W203 reset accelerator pedal position at idle. How to reset the accelerator pedal or throttle position?

This procedure is simple, you need to try to reset the throttle valve with the driver's door closed:

1. Start by turning the ignition key to the "on" position (NOT start).
2. Press and hold the gas pedal to the floor for five seconds.
3. Turn the key to the "off" position without removing it, then release the gas pedal.
4. Wait at least two minutes without doing anything.

Following these steps should reset the throttle.

Note: The Engine Control Unit (ECU) controls idle speed if there is no signal from the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). Make sure the accelerator pedal mechanically returns fully.

Try using Mercedes-Benz Star diagnostic scanner, then do quick check, select engine control unit, then do adaptation and reset throttle settings.

Ok I'll try but I only have OBD2.

I have Openport 2.0 which I just got from AliExpress and a cheap OBD2 scanner. I think I need Vediamo.
