For some time now, I haven't been able to connect my C4 DOIP clone to older vehicles that use HHT (W124, W140 - I connect the pins and banana plugs). The HHT starts up but stops at the message "Switch the ignition on".
I read online that the problem might be related to the device itself (C4). If so, does anyone have a hardware upgrade solution to fix this issue?
Or is there a software solution? I’ve tried various versions of HHT (OVTDM, etc.), and the program launches, so that’s unlikely to be the issue.
I am sure there is nothing wrong with the car, as I tested a C3 and it connects without any issues.
