CarPlay Track Data in the Instrument Cluster

My 2008 GL has an Android head unit. When using the iPod app to play music from an iPhone/iPod via USB, it displays the track titles in the "AUDIO" menu in the instrument cluster, just like the original COMAND radio, and allows me to change tracks from the steering wheel. The same thing happens with FM and AM radio. Since Android can apparently send text to the cluster via CAN bus, is there a way to do this via CarPlay or Bluetooth? It would also be nice to see information about phone calls in the "TEL" menu during calls. The radio runs on Android 9 and the car is coded for COMAND with navigation.

Can I use two Bluetooth connections at the same time depending on the phone type? One goes to the car to show the song data, but the sound only goes to CarPlay.
