Modified CFF/SMR-F have calculated and correct checksums, but are signed, so they cannot be used for flashing with regular control modules.
The device management firmware needs to be patched so that it can accept unsigned firmware files.
I used to have a similar patched CPC_NG needed for AMG tuning.
