Coding 722.9 for Starting in 2nd Gear

What year is your car? I think the first models will start in 1st gear. Later models (MOPF) have updated shift strategies to start in 2nd gear. You may need to update the software in the transmission control unit.

I can change this in my MSG (but it's a ME 9.7 module).
In "C" mode, I can switch the start to first or second gear. But second gear is already selected in "C" mode.
I can't say for sure if this option appeared after the ME 9.7 software update.
The "S" mode (also "M", "A" modes) starts in first gear. I don't see any changes to MSG that could be made.

I have a 2013 E220 with a CRD 3.10 ECU. I couldn't find any later software for the transmission, maybe someone can recommend a later software for the TCU? Or do you think that updating the engine ECU will add this feature?
