I have a 2004 Ford Expedition Triton V8, noticed that at idle (not when starting or when the oil hasn't reached the engine chamber) the RPMs stay at 1000 or 1200 or so. I know it should be between 600-700 RPMs. I checked the idle air control valve for vacuum leaks, the MAF sensor, and the spark plugs. In neutral it's almost 1200 and in gear or reverse it's about 1000. Any ideas what I should check or clean or I don't know.

You can try cleaning the throttle body. The best way is to remove it and clean it with brake cleaner and a rag. Also install a new throttle body gasket since you have removed it. If you have a scanner, you can perform idle retraining.
