I am retrofitting the Airmatic system on a Metris with chassis number WD4PG2EE7J3379076. I connected all the wires using a used control unit from a 2022 V-Class. To assemble the wiring harness, I used the V250 wiring diagram from the 2021 WIS. After connecting the diagnostic tool (SDconnect), I can't find this unit anywhere. It's usually an SPC292 for a W447, but I opened the control unit and the chip on it is called "SPC564A80L7," which may require a different communication data set. I can't find a data set called "SPC564".

The SPC564 is a microcontroller, not a module variant... it will probably also require an HGW (additional gateway from VKLAS) retrofit to make it work.

This clears things up a bit. On some versions of the diagram, the pair of CAN buses from the air suspension isn't green, white/green, but pink, and goes to the suspension CAN bus, which simply contains a bunch of main modules. I expected to at least be able to communicate with the device, but now it all looks like a confusing puzzle. I'll try to figure it out. Information on the V-Class is very scarce.

At the dealer level, the first step is to document the upgrade code, such as CA4, in VeDoc. The upgrade will then be matched to the vehicle status when performing an online scan for CPC or Gateway. However, I don't think your model's configuration includes either CPC or Flexray. I think you'll need to manually check the coding for the CR41, ESP9LEI, IC447KIG1, TPM3V1 variants in Monaco, find Airmatic, and ADS is/make set to present.
