Can anyone help me activate CarPlay?

I think you need to buy a CarPlay interface to connect it between the monitor and the NTG6.

The official way is to purchase a smartphone integration package from Mercedes.
It costs 357 euros and allows you to use CarPlay and Android Auto on the MBUX NTG6 head unit.
Only wired connection is supported and projection from phone will not cover the entire screen.
There are currently no known ways to get this update without paying.


The second option might be one of the third-party CarPlay interfaces mentioned by StefanCustoms.
There are several different models available, costing around €500, that offer more features than the standard MB solution.
These modules plug in between the head unit and the existing screen. Non-destructive (no cable cutting). No additional coding required.

I have another question, is it possible to disable TPMS? Because one TPMS sensor is faulty.
As far as I know, on BMW this can be done using E-Sys.

I don't think you can disable the TPMS on a Mercedes because as far as I know it's illegal in Germany. I think it's better to install and code a new sensor. I think it's a really useful feature.

Why might this be illegal?
The sensors are battery operated, so every 2-3 years you will have to change the sensor, one sensor costs about 150 euros, and when you want to change winter/summer tires, you will have to buy an additional 4 sensors for winter tires.

In Germany it is illegal because your "Allgemeinebetriebserlaubnis" comes out, so you can't pass the technical inspection, which is called "TÜV". If you drive without "TÜV", you don't get any insurance and it is illegal.
