The official way is to buy the Smartphone Integration Package from Mercedes.
It costs € 357 and enables Carplay and Android Auto on the MBUX NTG6 Head Unit. Only wired connection is supported and the phone projection will not expand to full screen.
As for now, there are no known methods to do this upgrade without paying for it.
A second option would be one of these aftermarket Carplay interfaces mentioned by StefanCustoms.
There are a number of different models, the cost around € 500 and gives you more features than the standard solution from MB.
These modules are plugged in between head unit and the existing screen. Non-destructive (no cable cutting). No additional coding required.
For installation example, search Youtube for "Kremersino kSmart w177".
I dont think that it is possible to disable TPMS on mercdes, because it would be illegal in germany as far as I know. I think it would be better to mount and code a new sensor. In my opinion, it is a really useful feature.
why would that be illegal?
the sensors work with a battery, so every 2-3 years you have to change the sensor,
one sensor costs around 150e
and when you want to change winter/summer tires, you have to buy extra 4 sensors for winter tires
In germany it is illegal, because your "Allgemeinebetriebserlaubnis" goes out, so you can not do a technical inspection wich is called "TÜV". If you driving without "TÜV" you are not getting any form of insurance and that is illegal.
