Download Manager COMAND/Hard-disc Navigation helps you download updated maps for teams from NTG 4.5 to NTG7 for all regions: Europe, America, Japan, Russia and so on. The program only helps to download and burn to media. And the update itself is the second question and you need to study it yourself. The archive also contains manuals for working with the program and updating.

Thanks, looks like I need to look at map updates for my 2015 GL. Also, does anyone know if the maps can be updated on the 2020 GLB? My kid bought one and took it to the dealer to work on it. She asked them about map updates and they told her that they would need to get something special to update the maps and it would take a couple of weeks. This seemed strange as for many years I was able to update the maps on my previous Mercedes quite easily using CDs or SD cards.

Yes, it works without code if you know the trick. You need to create a second CD or USB with the current map and then it will not ask for a code.

No, that won't work. This only applies to vehicles equipped with the COMAND NTG system.
