I think I understand the process. Format the USB drive with the version of the map installed on the NTG device to bypass the PIN code, but where can I find the old/factory installed version of the map?

Yes, it works without code if you know the trick. You need to create a second CD or USB with the current map and then it will not ask for a code.

Are there downloads available for older versions of maps to use this trick and save some money?

Hello, today (5th May 2024) I updated the Download Manager SD Card from 1.0.4 to 1.0.7 and then a message appeared saying that the service has been disabled/removed and I can uninstall this software. Means there are no more online SD Сard updates!?
