Can anyone post the service schedule and what exactly is "Service A" and "Service B" on the EQA250+? Thanks.

What is Service A?

At the first visit at approximately 10,000 miles or 1 year, whichever comes first, and then approximately every 20,000 miles or 2 years thereafter.

  • Electric cars are also inspected once a year to ensure that all parts of the vehicle are in perfect condition, certain parts will also be replaced as indicated by the car and other stressed components such as tires or brakes will be checked for irregular or excessive wear

What is Service B?

  • Brake check: checking the condition and wear of the brake pads and discs, as well as a check for leaks or any other damage
  • Lighting inspection: the lighting system of your Mercedes-EQ will be checked to ensure that it is working properly
  • Checking the windshield wiper equipment and wiper blades: the windshield wiper fluid level and the condition of the wiper blades are checked
  • Control of the charging cable and the vehicle's charging socket
  • Replacement of the dust filter (not for the EQA; for the EQV, depending on time and distance traveled)
  • Replacement of the cabin air filter (not for EQV)
  • Brake fluid change (every 2 years)
  • Overhaul of steering, axles and shock absorbers (EQV only)
  • Tire check (only for the EQV)
  • Inspection of the visible parts of the engine compartment and underbody of the vehicle (EQV only)
  • Inspection of the high voltage battery
  • Where applicable, other wear and tear replacement tasks depending on the mileage of the vehicle

Thank you very much for your answer, and one more question... When the car is under warranty, are all services free?

In my experience, no, unless the buyer has agreed otherwise.
They tried to sell me prepaid scheduled maintenance, I refused.

Which MB dealer do you service your car at? Hedin?

I'm in the USA (California) still settling on where to get service done. I purchased the car 100 miles away and need to settle on one of three more "local" dealerships. I had one issue immediately after getting home (actually happened midway on the drive home after purchase) where we drove back a few days later and got a loaner, but I don't want to do that again. I still have 2 years or 25000 miles left on the original factory warranty.

I had my Jetta TDI serviced at an independent shop. Not sure if doing that (independent shop) would affect any warranty claims as long as I can prove scheduled maintenance was done as required. I have not had an issue yet, I hope I never do.

I understand, thank you for your answers.
I live in Europe, but in my country these services are not good.

Better go to a real dealer, they should upload every service you have done to EWA, if you miss a service the warranty is void, on the first service they should only change the cabin filter, then on the Service B they change the brake fluid and cabin filter, it should be cheap.

Agree with Vlad, but as always buyer beware and shop around. You would think the services should be cheap, but the dealer I purchased from quoted $1400 for Service A. I quit listening after that and don't even know what they quoted for Service B.

Okay, thank you very much. Do you know how much it costs... approximately?
